Sarai Diaz Martinez
is a photographer whose work is a showcase of color and beauty. She began as special effects makeup artist and then picked up a camera. From there, fashion photography became her passion. Her delicate eye for detail and capability to connect with people is what makes her a great photographer.
Alongside her fashion photography, Sarai is a story-teller. The stories she has told are Lugares en donde Vivi (Places where I lived), Manos (Hands) and Sisters (Hermanas). She often works in black and white in order to focus on the sensitive details of the people and places she photographs.
Sarai earned her Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Digital Photography at The Art Institute of California - Los Angeles. She is bilingual in Spanish and English and a native Californian.
